It seems like whenever we discuss a company in any of our class case studies, we always end up finding something about the company later outside of class. During my usual daily internet rounds I found this really cool outdoor ad for IKEA.

IKEA’s new out-of-home campaign takes outdoor advertising to a whole new level. To promote its latest 2012 catalogue, IKEA placed a flipbook on a bus shelter in Singapore. If you look closely you’ll notice that the touch-screen TV is fitted into where the television in the living room should be.

The flipbook reaches and engages commuters during a time when they would otherwise have been bored while waiting for the bus. I would argue that some people might have even missed the bus while looking through the flipbook.
