LUXURY BRANDS + LUXURY EXHIBITS

To mark the launch of its new flagship store in Geneva, Hermés commissioned London-based studio Signal | Noise and Swiss design agency Unit to build a series of interactive exhibits within the  Musee D’Art et D’Histoire. The result was an exhibit that combined handcraft with technology.

The two-part exhibit combined an iPad application, which invited guests to leave their hand print to form part of a composite Hermès logo, with an interactive monolith, which allowed guests to create and control strips of light.

This exhibit is part of the increasing trend of luxury brands to add interactive technologies to their stores and at exhibitions to enhance consumers’ brand experience.
